Entrance examinations are held in April – May of the year prior to a student’s joining the school.
Students wishing to enter the Primary Department are assessed on material appropriate to their age group.
For entrance to S1, students applying from Greek-speaking primary schools write examinations in Greek and Mathematics. All other students write examinations in English and Mathematics. Places are offered to students attaining an average of 75% or above over the two papers.
Students attaining an average of 95% are eligible for a scholarship, renewable each year provided that an overall examination average of 90% is maintained throughout the student’s school career.
For entrance to S2, S3 or S4, if places are available, students write examinations in English and Mathematics. For entrance to other years, students must provide substantial evidence of academic ability and subject knowledge in the subjects they wish to follow.
